“Good News for All God’s Children”

“What counts is new creation” (Galatians 6:15).

“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26–28).

Paul’s life had been turned upside down, after having an encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus. Changed by the power of the gospel, he was now on a mission to tell everyone about the good news about Jesus.

He envisioned a dynamic Spirit-empowered church that would bring together all of God’s children (Jew and Gentile, male and female, slave and free). He passionately fought to maintain the purity and power of the gospel against those who'd sought to turn good news into bad news. The gospel of grace — without additions or subtractions — bridges cultural contexts and ensures that all of God’s children are included in Paul’s glorious vision of the New Creation.
